Medical Doctor Profession Education Program is a professional level of education to obtain a medical doctor degree as a continuation of the medical undergraduate program.
The program has a cumulative study credit of 46 with a cumulative study period of 3 to 6 semesters. The learning process is carried out through strengthening the skills obtained through academic learning activities in the main teaching hospital (RSHS) and educational setting as well as primary care.

Surgery
During the rotation at the Department of Surgery, the young doctor spends 9 weeks of rotation in Digestive Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urological Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery - RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin and the satelite Hospital of Cibabat Hospital, Salamun Hospital, and Ujung Berung Hospital.
Obstetri and Gynecology
Young doctors follow the rotation in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for 9 weeks. Hasan Sadikin as well as in the satelite hospitals of Cibabat, Astana Anyar, Ujung Berung, Majalaya, Sumedang, Subang, and Sukabumi. Young doctors will participate in the care of mothers with various health problems. Both in pregnancy and childbirth, as well as related to other reproductive health problems. The appearance, attitude, and attention of young doctors for the safety and health of patients are very important for the education of young doctors. Guide book as well as Learning materials include professional ethics and hospital ethics, knowledge of obstetric physiology, obstetric pathology, obstetric surgery, obstetrics and social gynecology, family planning and general gynecology, gynecological surgery, immunoneuroendocrinology, infertility, and obstetric emergencies are provided during the rotation.
Pediatrics
Young doctors spend 9 weeks of rotation at the Department of Pediatrics, starting with lectures, rotations at the outpatient polyclinic, inpatient care, nursery (R. anthurium) growth and development polyclinic, and pediatric emergency department at Dr. RSUP. Hasan Sadikin is guided by the Preceptor and the person in charge of the division in the Department of Pediatrics. In the following week, young doctors will be assigned under the supervision of field preceptors at the Puskesmas without and without treatment and at the Network Hospital. The satelite hospitals include Astana Anyar Hospital, Cibabat Hospital, Soreang Hospital, Majalaya Hospital, Ujung Berung Hospital, and Waled Hospital.
Internal Medicine
Rotation in the Department of Internal Medicine is carried out in 9 weeks at Dr. RSUP. Hasan Sadikin, and 2 weeks in the satelite Hospital, namely: Majalaya Hospital, Ujung Berung Hospital, Soreang Hospital, Sumedang Hospital. While at the RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin, a young doctor, will have two preceptors, and at the Jejaring Hospital they will be guided by 2–3 Jejaring consultants. The learning methods in Internal Medicine include: lectures, mini lectures, bed site teaching, clinical science sessions (CSS), independent study, and station at the ER, Hemodialysis, Lotus, Internal Medicine Poly, BMD, CICU, Endoscopy, and Physiological Tests Lungs).
Public Health and Family Medicine
Young doctors carry out the professional phase in public health with a learning duration of 4 weeks, while family medicine is 5 weeks. The first week is used for guidance activities for young doctors. Young doctors are able to manage individual and family health problems with a family doctor approach. The location of the activity is carried out in a primary care or private clinics that have been standardized and have cooperation agreements. The subject matter includes: applying the principles of family medicine in managing individual health problems. The following are skills in the field of public health and family medicine that are important for young doctors to master.
Anesthesiology
The young doctors rotated for 3 weeks carrying out activities in the operating room, emergency room, resuscitation room, high care unit under the guidance of the preceptor and doctor in charge. During the activities, young doctor have to do night duties with anesthesiology specialist and onsite anesthesia doctors with schedule arrangements. PSPD material is contained in several modules including airway management modules, oxygen therapy, circulation, monitoring, basic nature support (AHA 2012), Advance Life Support 2012. All activities are held at RSHS Education Hospital.
Forensic Medicine
Young doctors rotate for 3 weeks aiming to produce doctors who are competent in using medical science in law enforcement, as well as understanding and implementing health law. The station was carried out at Dr. RSUP. Hasan Sadikin Bandung for cases involving corpses and in other departments, especially the ER (Emergency Unit) for clinical forensic cases. The subject matter includes: Doctors and law (ethiko-medicolegal aspects in forensic cases), communication and cooperation, death documents, clinical autopsies and medicolegal autopsies, supporting examinations, clinical forensics, and management of corpse management.
Psychiatrics
During a 3-week rotation at the Department of Psychiatric, young doctors studied cases with various competencies with the method of observation, CRS, CSS in Nursing Wards, Outpatient Polyclinics and satellite Hospitals, Cisarua Hospital.
Dermato Venereology
Young doctors carry out rotations for 3 weeks, 2 weeks for learning, and one week for examination. The educational program is held at RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin and the Pasundan Primary Care. Learning methods include lectures (resource person sessions), bed site teaching, and clinical report sessions (CRS). Assessment methods include mini CEX, MCQ exams, and slide exams.
Ophthalmology
Anatomy of the visual apparatus, physiology of the visual apparatus, eye disease in the elderly, introduction to clinical medicine, eye examination, pink eye, abnormalities of the palpebral, conjunctiva, cornea and sclera, uvea, cataract, glaucoma, refraction and strabismus, trauma, tumors and retina
Neurology
Medical Emergency, Intensive Medicine, Neurological Diseases in the Elderly, Introduction to Clinical Medicine, Clinical-Pathology Discussion, Physical Examination, Brain Disorders, Central Nervous System Infections, Peripheral Nervous System, Epilepsy, Basal Ganglia Disorders, Brain Tumors, Cognitive Disorders, Medulaspinalis, Headache, Neuropediatric, Neurotraumatology.
Ear, Nose and Throat
Anatomy, Physiology, Ear, Nose & Throat Diseases in the Elderly, Introduction to Clinical Medicine, Congenital Disorders, Trauma, Metabolic, Neoplasm and Immunology of the Ear, Nose and Paranasal Sinus, Maxillofacial, Pharynx, Larynx, Trachea-bronchus, Esophagus, Neck.
Radiology
The young doctor spends rotation in the radiology department as one of the diagnostic support departments. Learning activities are carried out for 3 weeks, using lecture, Case Report Session, and Clinical Science Session methods.
Nuclear Medicine
Department of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging FK Unpad RSHS is the only provider of nuclear medicine education in Indonesia. This is an advantage for Unpad Medical Faculty graduates, because while undergoing PSPD, students gain knowledge and experience that cannot be found elsewhere. During their rotation at the Department of Nuclear Medicine, students are given exposure to the application of nuclear medicine in Indonesia and its various potential developments. In addition, students also have the opportunity to observe diagnostic and therapeutic processes in nuclear medicine, such as kidney function tests (GFR), renography, bone prints, thyroid scans, cardiac perfusion fingerprinting, and hyperthyroid and thyroid therapy using iodine 131.
Physical and Rehabilitaion Medicine
Young doctors rotate for 1 week to achieve clinical skills according to Indonesian doctor competency standards.
Dental Medicine
The educational goals of young doctors at the Department of Dental Medicine are expected to be able to identify the manifestations of systemic diseases in the oral cavity and refer to related departments, be able to be professional and cooperate in dealing with disorders in the oral cavity associated with systemic disorders, and able to perform first aid in emergency cases and emergency department for trauma and maxillofacial infections. Able to provide education and counseling in efforts to prevent and improve oral health which can have an impact on health in general. The learning method is carried out through CRS, CSS, and bed site teaching.

The Faculty of Medicine has a main campus located in Jatinangor and a Teaching Hospital Building at Jalan Eijkman No. 38 Bandung. The campus in Jatinangor is intended for learning activities of the Undergraduate Program and Midwifery Diploma Program, while the Teaching Hospital Building is for Medical Doctor Profession Education Program (PSPD), Specialist Program (PPDS), and the Postgraduate Program. The main Teaching Hospitals are Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung and the National Eye Center (PMN) Cicendo Eye Hospital with several regional hospitals, primary care and clinics throughout West Java.
To connect these various campuses, internet facilities both in the form of cable networks and wi-fi are available throughout the campus. With a capacity of 512 kbps to get the latest information on science under the coordination of DCISTEM Unpad. Students, lecturers, and education staff get a username (PAUS ID) to facilitate and identify access.
