Orthopedics and Traumatology who are more than 30 years old are increasingly experiencing developments and challenges. Developments in the field of science, knowledge, and supporting tools such as imaging, instrumentation, molecular biology, and even stem cells have also grown rapidly which has become a challenge for the organization of education to facilitate Indonesian Orthopedic and Traumatology personnel.
Aware of responsibility as an Indonesian citizen who serves in the field of health services and understands and feels the demands of society and government programs to improve the level of public health
an Indonesian Orthopedic specialist must have the following characteristics:
- Uphold the Indonesian Medical Code of Ethics.
- Have the ability and skills to deal with emergency and non-emergency Orthopedic and Traumatology problems.
- Able to develop knowledge and skills as an Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialist Doctor by the demands of society and advances in science
- Able to develop services in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the environment.
- Working in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology as a profession.
- Have sufficient knowledge about the rehabilitation of physical disabilities (debilitated) and be able to carry out preventive rehabilitation.
- Able to develop his learning experience by choosing healthy learning sources and leading to the highest academic level.
