Study Kedokteran fisik dan Rehabilitasi!
From 1978 to early 1996 the Medical Rehabilitation Unit has carried out pioneering education in the field of medical rehabilitation together with FK UNAIR/RSUD dr. Soetomo and FKUI/RS Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo. In 1996, an application was submitted for the willingness of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (FKUI) to become the adoptive father of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Study Program at the Medical Rehabilitation Installation/SMF FKUP-RSHS, which was followed up with a statement of FKUI-RSCM's willingness to become the adoptive father.
The Specialist Doctor Education Program-I Medical Rehabilitation Universitas Padjadjaran was then implemented since 1997
in the form of ampu system education (adoptive father) as a prerequisite for the recognition of the Health Sciences Consortium (CHS/Commission on Discipline of Health Sciences Council of Higher Education (KDIK-DD) in collaboration with the University of Indonesia as The agreement regarding the technical operational guidance given by the Medical Rehabilitation Study Program, FK UI Jakarta as the Adoptive Father for the Medical Rehabilitation Study Program, FK UNPAD, was carried out on September 8, 1997 between the two KPS and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of each university.
In January 1998 the Medical Rehabilitation Installation/SMF FKUP-RSHS with the foster father of FKUI-RSCM
began to receive PPDS-1. In 2007 the Indonesian Collegium of Physical Medicine and Medical Rehabilitation conducted a visit at the Medical Rehabilitation School of the FKUP-RSHS. As a follow-up, in September 2008 based on SK DIKTI 1623/D/T/2008, Universitas Padjadjaran accepted 5 PPDS-1 students and had graduated 55 graduates by 2017.

Producing superior and transformative Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialists so that they can realize a better public health status.
Spesific Goals
- Produce graduates who have knowledge and have superior skills in the field of Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, namely musculoskeletal ultrasonography and are able to provide services and solve problems in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the community.
- Produce graduates who have extensive knowledge in their fields and have sufficient skills to provide health services related to physical medicine and rehabilitation and can overcome functional disorders that arise from infancy to old age in the community.
- Produce graduates who have professional and moral responsibilities in practicing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Produce planning and implementation of quality education and research in the context of development in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Generate community service in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Generate cooperation with other institutions and colleagues and uphold the prevailing ethics and norms.

The depth and breadth of learning materials in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist Doctor Education Program are also determined by utilizing the results of research and community service in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation which are cumulative, integrative, and are set out in structured study materials in the form of modules equipped with reference books, student manuals, and teaching staff handbooks.

Study Program
The IKFR FK UNPAD Study Program supports all activities and student progress so that they can complete their education period on time. The service activities that will be implemented and facilitated are as follows:
- Morning and Afternoon Scientific Routine Activities, in the form of Journal Reading, Literature Review, and Long Case
- Comprehensive Exams for Semesters 1 and 2, as well as for the final semester.
- Institutional Examination Activities held 2 times a year
- Guidance Activities with Guardian Lecturers
- Non-scientific activities
- Community Based Rehabilitation Services (RBM): Visits to the Indonesian Lung Foundation, YPAC, Services at Rumah Cinta Inclusion.
- Excellent service: Pain Intervention Training with USG
Why Choose Us
We are a study program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University, which is located in Kota Kembang, Bandung, West Java. Where has a cool climate and there is a culinary place, which makes it comfortable to rest, study and work.
Our study program is accredited A and already has a curriculum division based on subdivisions, namely Musculoskeletal, Neuromuscular, Cardiorespiratory, Pediatrics and Geriatrics, so that students are expected to have a better understanding of IKFR science. The methods we teach are always updated and follow developments in the field according to the situation of SpKFR in Indonesia, because we always coordinate with PERDOSRI, especially the West Java branch. In addition, we also teach the mindset of an SpKFR to analyze a patient's function according to the actual condition he is experiencing. It is hoped that students will be ready to enter the working world of SpKFR after graduation, not to become competitors, but to become colleagues who are able to increase the productivity of the Indonesian people by reducing the number of disabilities.
Our study programs have collaborated with international educational institutions, so that every student can be exposed to international knowledge directly.
