TERMS OF REFERENCE

 

Short Course In Clinical Epidemiology

4 – 6 February 2020

Program Study Master in Epidemiology

Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University

 

I. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, it is expected that participants will be able:

  1. To formulate scientific background, research question and objectives in epidemiology studies
  2. To understand the conformity of research questions, research methods and data analysis
  3. To understand how to develop scientifically robust protocol in epidemiologic studies

II. FACILITATION METHODS

The method will be a combination of the following:

  • Lecture
  • Discussion
  • Hands on/workshop

V. PARTICIPANTS

 

Up to 30 participants will be enrolled in the training. This will include 7 scholars of Health-I online course, and scholars from the magister and doctoral students in Padjadjaran University and clinicians from Hasan Sadikin Hospital.

Participants are expected to have a degree in clinical sciences (including in medicine, nursing, or midwifery) and already have research planning written in 1-2 pages of outline research.
